The Prep, Grade 1 and 2 Classroom

​In the Prep, One and Two classroom we love learning through hands on activities. We learn to work together as a group and how to try our best when we are learning new things.

We have fun working on our fine motor skills and practice them in a variety of ways. We learn to communicate with our peers, teachers and other adults. We enjoy to listen to, read, respond to and make our own texts or stories. 

We love learning to count, add and subtract, we measure how long or heavy things are and to classify objects. We are learning the difference between day and night, the seasons and start to learn to tell the time.

We have a great time learning to be members of the Sassafras Primary School family.
